General submission instructions
“Europa Orientalis” takes into consideration studies and research on any topic of Slavic interest. The manuscripts can be written in any of the Slavic languages, as well as English, German, French and Italian.
Authors should submit manuscripts in electronic format (.doc and .pdf) via e-mail to: redazione@europaorientalis.it. All manuscripts should use black font Times New Roman with a size of 12 point, 1.5 line spacing and no additional formatting. When using special fonts not available in MSWord, they should be attached to the manuscript.
Notes, written in black font Times New Roman with a size of 10 point and no additional formatting, are used to give more detailed explanations as well as recommended reading and should be as follows:
1) Monographs: Initial of First Name – Surname – Title – Place of publication – Publisher – Year of Publication – Page number(s).
e.g.: Ju. Tynjanov, Poetika. Istorija literatury. Kino, Moskva, Nauka, 1977, p. 211.
From the second quotation onwards, the reference should only contain: Initial of First Name – Surname – Title – cit. – Page number(s). (idem for points 2 and 3: vd. infra):
e.g. Ju. Tynjanov, Poetika. Istorija literatury. Kino, cit., p. 41.
2) Article in an anthology: Initial of First Name – Name – Title – in – Title of the work – Editor(s) – Place of publication – Publisher – Year of Publication – Page number(s).
e.g.: E. Kumpan, Naši stariki, in Istorija leningradskoj nepodcenzurnoj literatury: 1950-e – 1980-e gody. Sbornik statej, Sost. B. Ivanov, B. Roginskij, S.-Peterburg, Dean, 2000, pp. 29-38.
3) Article in a journal: Initial of First Name – Surname – Title – Name of the magazine in quotes – No. – Year – File – Page Number(s).
e.g.: M. Berg, Struktura russkoj literatury i pisatel'skie strategii do perestrojki i posle, “Russica romana”, 11 (2004), pp. 13-22.
